Ear pressure and facial pain seem to go hand in hand with any cold, flu, or allergy. Facial massages can aid in relieving the pressure built up in the Eustachian tubes (drain tubes in the inner ear), reduce pressure in the sinuses, and help the lymph nodes and glands along the neck drain.

These are not an instant fixes, nor should they be used as stand alone treatments. They are here to help you bring relief to your child, and yourself, as the body heals. If using these massages on a newborn, please be extra gentle and use very little pressure.
